We equipped our site with essential safety gear, including First Aid Kits, Fire Extinguishers, Handwash Stations, and Eyewash Stations. Our commitment to OSHA safety standards is unwavering, with regular inspections conducted by safety consultants (STC) and Parsons Roofing. All personnel are required to use PPE that meets OSHA requirements and follows safe ladder usage protocols.

Special attention was given to areas with skylight covers in building breezeways, ensuring they were properly installed and safe to roof over. Additional precautions include the placement of tarps under roof eaves to protect landscaping. Safety inspections, conducted frequently by Parsons’ personnel and STC consultants, ensure ongoing compliance.

As part of the roofing process, we responsibly remove and dispose of existing roofing materials. The existing decking was inspected to meet code requirements, and the surface is prepped for the new roof installation. We installed new synthetic felt underlayment, starter strips at rakes and eaves, neoprene vent boots, neoprene washer screws on all penetrations, ice and water shield in all valleys, and new Aluminum 3×2 T-style drip edge matching the fascia color. The installation also includes new shingle-over ridge vents, step flashing at walls as needed, and architectural shingles per the manufacturer’s instructions.
