Commercial Built-Up Roof

Built-up roofing, also called BUR, is the most commonly used system on low-slope roofs. Most BURS have three parts: bitumen material, ply sheets, and one or more surfacing materials such as small stones. The top layer protects the layers beneath, from sunlight and damage from debris, and provides a safe, walkable surface.
