Macon Shingle Replacement

To start this project, we first removed the existing roof to the decking and hauled it away. Then it was time to prep the existing deck for the new roof installation. Next, we installed synthetic felt underlayment, along with CertainTeed Swift starter shingle to all eaves and rake. We installed CertainTeed Landmark architectural shingles next (color was chosen by the customer). After that, we installed CertainTeed hip and ridge shingles. We then replaced all flashing boots around the PVC exhaust penetrations. Next, Weather Watch Ice & Water shield around the valleys was installed. After this, we applied Dura Link commercial grade sealant to all exposed fasteners and areas required. Finally, we installed a granulated cap sheet over wood framed cricket and to vertical wall flashing.
