Duluth Re-Skin

The project included the mechanical attachment of existing polyisocyanurate insulation boards and the installation of a GAF EverGuard 60-mil TPO membrane over approximately 96,142 square feet of steel roof deck. The TPO membrane was adhered to all vertical surfaces and extended over parapet walls to accommodate new coping caps. All roof penetrations were properly flashed, including the installation of TPO pipe boots, molded sealant pockets, curb flashings, and the replacement of all curb-mounted skylights. New TPO-coated steel scuppers, 24-gauge steel slip metal at curbs, and a 24-gauge Kynar-coated steel coping cap were installed. All membrane seams were hot-air welded and probed for accuracy, walk pads were installed per manufacturer requirements, and all edges were terminated to specification. The project concluded with a thorough site cleanup, internal quality assurance inspection, third-party manufacturer inspection, and completion of all punch list items to secure a 20-year GAF warranty.
