Monroe Replacement

For the TPO retrofit project covering 14,217 square feet, we adhered strictly to all applicable OSHA safety and protection guidelines throughout the process. Initially, we installed new EPS flute fill insulation boards between the ribs and mechanically attached 1-inch polyisocyanurate insulation boards to the existing roof surface. Following this, we applied and mechanically secured 60mil TPO to the purlins and flashed all penetrations, corners, and T-joints according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Seams between membranes were welded with a hot air welder and probed for accuracy, and the membrane was terminated at the edges as specified. For initial preparations, we installed steel skylight covers on 16 skylights, removed existing ridge vents and replaced them with new steel covers, and installed a new wood nailer around the perimeter of the roof, covering 543 linear feet. Existing gutters and downspouts, totaling 400 linear feet, were removed and disposed of properly. In the metal installation phase, we provided and installed a new TPO-coated drip edge along the draining edge (400 linear feet) and a new 24-gauge Kynar-coated steel gravel stop on the non-draining edge (142 linear feet). At the end of each workday, the work area was cleaned and organized, and all debris from the roof work was hauled away and disposed of.
